The Leather House is a Gozitan family-run business established by the Debono family in 1965. They started off their business by exporting fine, hand-sewn gloves to Northern Europe. In 1981, they opened a small workshop at the Ta' Dbiegi Crafts Village in Gozo, which also included a boutique to showcase their finished products.

In time, The Leather House expanded its premises to employ more workers and it also invested in new machinery to meet the growing demand for its products. When visiting the workshop, one will have the rare opportunity to view the craftsmen at work, while browsing the goods on display - a truly unique experience in the local crafts village!

Today, The Leather House manufactures a vast selection of original designs for wallets, souvenirs, restaurant menus, belts, desk sets, briefcases, handbags, boardroom sets, covers for diaries and electronic devices and much more. The Leather House also specializes in custom made orders in any finish and design requested.
